managed and is led by William Soeryadjaja, and Liem Tjien Tie Kian Peng Hong.
In 1965 PT. Astra International centralize its head office in Jakarta, and
Bandung office serve as the first branch. under the name PT. Astra
Incorporated. The Company is domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia, with headquarters
in jl. Gaya Motor Kingdom 8, Sunter II, Jakarta.PT.Astra International

Djioe by deed dated 20 februari1957 in Jakarta, and the decision of the

The
company was initially engaged in the automotive business, namely Toyota,
Daihatsu, Isuzu, Nissan Truck, and in other fields such as:

in the marketing of Honda motorcycles and bicycles Federal.
2. United Tractors,
engaged in heavy farm machinery such as; Tractors, Messey Ferguson, Sumitomo,
Link Belt and others.

In

A. HISTORY
PT
Toyota-Astra Motor unveiled on April 12, 1971. The role of Toyota Astra Motor
originally only as importer of Toyota vehicles, but a year later, it serves as
a distributor. On December 31, 1989, Toyota Astra Motor to merge together three
companies, among others:

Combined

Thursday, February 20, 2003, PT Astra International Tbk (AI) and Toyota Motor
Corporation (TMC), the parent company of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), announced
that they reached an agreement on a basic agreement to reorganize TAM into two
business entities, which is engaged in manufacturing and distribution. The
agreement set forth in the form of signing of a memorandum of understanding
(MOU) by:

TAM
in accordance with the reorganization plan, TMC will become the majority

majority shareholder (with a 51% ownership) in the distribution company, which
